In a vibrant and emotionally charged atmosphere, the annual ceremony honoring excellence in media celebrated the standout figures of the audiovisual, radio, and digital landscape. Broadcast live and followed by a wide audience, the event paid tribute to the exceptional contributions of artists, journalists, broadcasters, and content creators who distinguished themselves throughout the year through their professionalism, creativity, and impact.

Among the evening’s highlights was the presentation of the Video Clip of the Year award, hosted by IgM, which generated great enthusiasm. The winner, praised for the artistic and narrative quality of their work, received warm applause from a packed audience. The “Dad of the Year” award, given to Kelly Crow, underscored the honoree’s commitment both as a parent and public figure, while the “Dragée of the Year” trophy, awarded to Pierre Pondeuses, was met with a standing ovation.

The “Music of the Year” category, energetically presented by the “Oui Oui” team, spotlighted the vitality of the Francophone music scene. The winner, whose work captivated listeners throughout the year, was celebrated for originality and broad resonance with the public.

Radio was also prominently featured, with the “Radio of the Year” award presented by Advance to Audrey, an iconic voice on the airwaves. This distinction not only reflects the quality of her programming but also her role in fostering connections within the listener community. Special recognition was also given to Belle, whose dedication to promoting Francophone radio was unanimously applauded.

The “Journalist or Report of the Year” award went to a piece distinguished by its rigor, ethics, and ability to shed light on complex current issues. This prize, symbolizing journalistic excellence, reaffirms the vital importance of the profession within an ever-evolving media ecosystem.

In the “Radio Host of the Year” category, Nicolas received the honor, acknowledging his ease, authenticity, and ability to build lasting rapport with his audience. Meanwhile, the “Television Host of the Year” award went to Misque Guerrière, whose exemplary career and cultural commitment drew widespread acclaim.

The “Business of the Year,” presented by BCT, recognized an entrepreneurial initiative that successfully combined innovation, social responsibility, and economic success. Myriam Charles, an inspiring figure in the field, was especially highlighted for her leadership and vision.

The entertainment industry was further celebrated through several key categories: “Actress of the Year in Film and Television,” awarded by Radio-Canada to Alain; “Web Content Creator of the Year”; and “Theatre Actor or Actress of the Year,” presented by Emma Québec. These awards underscored the richness and diversity of Francophone talent on both stage and screen.

Finally, the “Comedian of the Year” prize honored an individual whose intelligent and socially engaged humor left a lasting impression throughout the year.

As the ceremony drew to a close, a heartfelt appeal was made to the audience: “If we celebrate these talents tonight, it is also our collective responsibility to support them tomorrow.” This clear and powerful message urged the public to continue encouraging the artists and creators in their community—particularly by following and engaging with them on social media.
