Montréal - Once again, the scenario repeated itself. The team dominated its opponent, multiplied its chances, but failed to find the offensive spark to capitalize on its superiority. Despite a solid match and an encouraging collective performance, frustration remains: victory slipped away, leaving room for yet another sharing of points.

“The most difficult thing in football are the chances, and we created a lot of them tonight. There was only one team on the field. The finishing was missing, but I am very happy and pleased with our team’s performance,” explained the coach after the match.

From the very first seconds, the team projected itself forward, creating several clear opportunities. “In the first 15 to 20 minutes, we should have scored three or four goals. And in the last minutes, we again showed our desire to win. Unfortunately, luck was not on our side tonight,” added the coach.

Zacharie Broglia, particularly active at the start of the match, was one of the main offensive instigators, taking advantage of favorable duels and attempting several long-distance strikes. Despite this creativity, the scoreboard remained unchanged.

Beyond the result, some reasons for satisfaction remain. The club broke a new attendance record, confirming the popular enthusiasm. “This may be the sixth or seventh time the stadium has been full. It is a great source of pride and a very positive sign. The goals will come, there is nothing else to do but continue working,” assured the coach.

While the atmosphere in the locker room was tinged with positivity, the players did not hide their mixed feelings. “We can be disappointed not to have taken three points, because we deserved them. But in the end, a point is still a point gained,” acknowledged a defensive leader of the team.

The goalkeeper, for his part, prefers to see the glass half full: “I am satisfied with our consistency. Since the first match, I have sought to improve in my decisions, my positioning, and my interventions. Tonight, we leave again with a clean sheet. That is positive, even if we know we will have to score to hope to go further.”

With another match scheduled as soon as Wednesday, the team will have to quickly turn the page and find the offensive key. “We know that just piling up draws will not be enough. We will have to go get victories to aim for the playoffs. But we remain confident,” concluded a player.
