In an atmosphere filled with emotion, boldness, and gratitude, Groupe 3737 once again highlighted the dynamism of young entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds during “Démodé,” a day dedicated to showcasing innovative projects developed through its acceleration program.
This initiative, which celebrates creativity and entrepreneurial courage, gave several laureates the opportunity to share their inspiring journeys and ambitions for the future. Among them, Michel, founder of Keros Sport, captivated the audience with his concept of sports innovation focused on physical recovery. A former basketball player and Nike athlete, he expressed heartfelt pride in winning the Grand Prize of Groupe 3737’s commercial mission.
“It’s a feeling of recognition for all the work accomplished, and above all, motivation to continue helping athletes feel fit day after day,” he declared.
Another highlight came from Manuella Sim, founder of TCH Radiance, a company specializing in skincare for sensitive skin formulated specifically for women of color. Deeply moved by her recognition, she emphasized the importance of visibility and support for women entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.
“I still can’t believe it. Seeing that people recognize my impact on the community touches me deeply. I hope to inspire other young women to believe in their journey and pursue their dreams,” she shared with emotion.
The competition also showcased passionate entrepreneurs behind innovative projects such as the TVTinaire — a unique boot designed to allow physical training while protecting the joints.
For Marie-France Désy, Director of Partnerships at Desjardins Entreprises, the day was a true revelation of the potential within the new generation of entrepreneurs.
“I met passionate, determined people who are clearly destined for great success. Groupe 3737 and the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem are providing them with an exceptional springboard,” she affirmed, also noting the importance of the Créavenir program, which supports entrepreneurs aged 18 to 39.
Groupe 3737’s Démodé is more than just a pitch competition; it is a celebration of perseverance, vision, and the social impact of businesses born from diversity. Through this event, the group reaffirms its mission: to support, train, and propel today’s entrepreneurs toward tomorrow’s success.
The call is already open for the next cohort, scheduled for early 2025.
“Try, dare. As Nike says: Just do it. The worst that can happen is that your business grows,” concluded a member of the Groupe 3737 team, in a vibrant message of encouragement.
A beautiful promise for the future of inclusive and innovative entrepreneurship in Quebec.
