In an electrifying atmosphere blending Afro, gospel, R&B, soul, and trap rhythms, the project “A Remixed Christmas” offered a memorable evening at MP Studios. Established artists and emerging talents came together around a common message: to celebrate musical diversity while giving the Christmas season a modern, warm, and inclusive touch.
Among the highlights of the night, Gino Deka, also known as Disciple Dek, left his mark with his inspiring presence. A rapper, beatmaker, filmmaker, host, and father of three, he embraces an artistic identity deeply rooted in faith and creativity.
“It was incredible. I was so happy to share not only my art and vision but also to do something positive. Christmas is a moment of joy, community, and light,” he shared.
“We hope to see more events of this kind that bring people together through music.”
Another standout moment of the concert was the performance by Da King, a rising artist with an eclectic style and a universal message.
“The concert was wonderful. There was zouk, compas, chants, fusion… I had the chance to perform two songs that mean a lot to me,” he said.
“The message I want to convey is love. But love is vast — it has many forms and many depths.”
His musical world, both introspective and vibrant, will soon be revealed in a new label project expected to drop soon. Fans can follow his updates on Instagram via @d4kin.
Behind many of the project’s tracks stands Brandy, a talented pianist whose musical sensitivity brought several compositions to life.
“I’ve been playing piano for a long time. We worked hard — my brother Justin Baya and I — to bring this project to life. Today, I’m proud of what we’ve achieved.”
His contribution added melodic depth and sonic cohesion that strengthened the project’s artistic identity.
R&B singer Dashni, with his smooth voice, captivated the audience with a Caribbean-infused rendition.
“For me, Christmas represents family, love, and togetherness. I wanted to add a touch of my Haitian roots,” he explained.
“This project celebrates the spirit of Christmas, but also our cultures and origins.”
The artist invites fans to follow him on Instagram @dashni_j, where he’s already announcing several new projects for 2025.
At only 16 years old, Jade Mathieu is already establishing herself as one of the most promising voices on Quebec’s music scene.
“I had the chance to take part in this project and sing alongside artists I didn’t know yet. It was an incredible experience,” she said.
“We created harmonies spontaneously, right on the spot. That’s the magic of music.”
She encourages the public to follow her musical journey on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube (@jademathieumusic) or through her official website jademathieu.ca.
Closing the evening, Mabom MBA, the project’s founder, expressed his gratitude to all the artists and the audience who came to celebrate.
“It was the official launch of the album A Remixed Christmas, and the concert exceeded all our expectations. The performances were amazing.”
Now available on YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, and all streaming platforms, the album stands as a modern celebration of sharing, diversity, and faith.
“It’s a revisited Christmas, a vibrant Christmas, a Christmas from the heart.”
