Multiple Opportunities for Communities – Black Entrepreneurs || TD

TD Bank made its presence felt at the recent Black Business Atlas initiative, highlighting the talents of the Black community and local entrepreneurs. The event brought together artists, entrepreneurs, and community members on a platform dedicated to promoting local initiatives.

Accompanied by their team, a representative of TD Bank emphasized the importance of the event and the institution’s role in supporting the community. “It’s a very beautiful initiative, it’s an extraordinary moment,” he stated, stressing the positive impact of the gathering on participants and the community as a whole.

Several members of the TD team also shared their experiences. Alisha Normille, a mortgage specialist, expressed her satisfaction with participating in this first edition: “It’s such a great moment to see that we are creating this environment for us, by us. I encourage everyone to keep participating and to support this movement.”

Christiane Chico-Mortiniera, a personal finance advisor, highlighted the richness of the talent present: “We are discovering very beautiful activities, very wonderful people with incredible talents in the community. It’s truly very encouraging.”

Mamadou and Nenet Sokouf, responsible for small business services and financing, confirmed their commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and contributing to the growth of their projects. “It’s really a beautiful event, very happy to be here. There is a lot of potential,” commented Nenet Sokouf.

Constant, specialized in loans and mortgage services, emphasized the importance of providing concrete support to young entrepreneurs: “When we see people here, young Black entrepreneurs, we ask ourselves how we can help them… If you have needs in loans and mortgage services, come see us.”

The TD representative concluded by reaffirming the bank’s commitment to the Black community, particularly through support for numerous initiatives, programs, and events, as well as promoting an inclusive work environment: “We hope that Black Business Atlas continues to grow and becomes the reference platform for the future.”

The event thus reinforced TD’s role as an active partner of the community, while highlighting the talents and ambitions of a generation of determined entrepreneurs.
