For nearly 15 years, Nikki Clarke has been giving a voice to stories of resilience, transformation, and triumph through her widely acclaimed program, The Nikki Clarke Show. What began as a quiet whisper during a moment of meditation has evolved into a multimedia platform reaching audiences across Canada, the Caribbean, and beyond.

“I was teaching at a community college when I felt what I can only describe as a divine whisper,” Clarke recalls. “It kept getting louder until I knew I had to take a leap of faith.” That leap led her to leave the security of her teaching career in 2018 and step into the uncertain world of media and broadcasting.

Today, The Nikki Clarke Show airs on Afroglobal Television across five cable channels in Canada, with more than a million viewers, and is also broadcast in Jamaica. In addition, the program streams as a podcast out of New York City every Thursday at 11 a.m. on Radio Jondo and Spotify.

Clarke describes her show as “transforming lives one story at a time.” The format invites guests from all walks of life—entrepreneurs, activists, artists, and everyday people—to share personal stories of overcoming hardship and discovering purpose.

“The goal is to remind people that they’re not alone,” Clarke explains. “When viewers hear someone who’s been in the valley and made it to the mountain, it gives them hope to push through their own struggles.”

Over the years, she has witnessed countless success stories emerge from her stage. For Clarke, it’s more than just an interview; it’s about building meaningful relationships. “It’s not a simple ‘thank you for coming’ and moving on. I care deeply about the people who share their stories, and I try to maintain those connections.”

The journey, however, has not been without challenges. Transitioning from the classroom to the media industry came with steep learning curves. “The first five years were the hardest,” Clarke admits. “There were mistakes, wrong turns, and moments of doubt. But every setback became a lesson. I’m grateful for both the good and the bad because they shaped the show into what it is today.”

Leaving a secure nine-to-five job was a bold move, one not everyone supported at first. “People thought I was crazy to walk away from stability, especially when I didn’t have much experience in broadcasting. But I believed in the vision. Now, many of those same people who doubted me are cheering me on.”

Reflecting on her 15-year journey, Clarke says the show has instilled in her humility, perseverance, and discipline. “It has taught me to stay humble, to extend grace to others, and to never give up. If you can see the vision, you can achieve it.”

She emphasizes that too many people bury their dreams without ever pursuing them. “I want to encourage people to act on their vision. A vision is like a seed—it’s meant to grow.”

This fall, Clarke will celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Nikki Clarke Show with a special event on October 27, bringing together past guests and supporters. “It’s a celebration of community and of stories that matter,” she says warmly.

For those looking to tune in, The Nikki Clarke Show airs Mondays at noon and Tuesdays at 6 p.m. EST on Afroglobal Television. Viewers can also access a library of past episodes at nikkiclarknetwork.com or stream audio interviews on Spotify and Radio Jondo.

As Clarke reflects on her journey, one message resonates: “Taking that leap of faith was the best decision I ever made. Not only did it change my life, but it continues to transform the lives of others—one story at a time.”
