Montreal – The second edition of the Entrepreneurs’ Dinner was recently held in an atmosphere of sharing, networking, and inspiration, bringing together leaders from diverse backgrounds. Organized by Ninette Boucher, founder of NB Transport Solutions, the event highlighted the richness of Afro-descendant entrepreneurship in Quebec and Canada.
Among the guests of honor was Gill Tianga, a Cameroonian entrepreneur based in Toronto and former participant in the show Dragons’ Den. His journey captivated the audience and inspired many participants. “In one word, I am perseverance,” he declared. For him, entrepreneurship goes far beyond creating products: “It is the ability to build relationships and transform your community.”
Nalo, founder of Groupe Mami Kaya and MAM Ka World, emphasized the importance of sustainable economic development and women’s empowerment. “My slogan is shared excellence, and tonight we lived it,” she affirmed.
Mariam, meanwhile, took the opportunity to announce the Grand Exhibition of Products and Services of Diversity scheduled for December in Gatineau.
The event also offered the chance to discover unique journeys: Omar, founder of Africook, delighted guests with a meal inspired by African flavors, while stressing the importance of further industrializing products from African communities.
Michael, financial security advisor, reminded everyone of the importance of financial education and strategic planning: “I leave enriched both culturally and humanly.”
Cindy Mati, creator of Cinera Spices, presented her Penja white pepper, produced in Cameroon by her family, recognized for its unique and beneficial health properties.
Many participants, including Henriette Ngandoula and Marianne, recognized figures in social economy and community entrepreneurship, shared inspiring keys: faith, rigor, and rest. These contributions reinforced the central theme of the evening: “Entrepreneurship differently.”
For Ninette Boucher, organizer and host of the evening, the success of this edition lies above all in the quality of the exchanges: “Each speaker brought a unique touch that gave full meaning to the theme. We leave with new ideas and a renewed vision of entrepreneurship.”
The dinner concluded on a festive note, with the promise of renewing the experience. “The main message is to dare: dare to make a difference, dare to undertake differently,” summarized the organizing team.
The entrepreneurial community is already eagerly awaiting the third edition of this now unmissable event for actors of innovation and diversity in Quebec.
