On the occasion of Black History Month, Microcrédit Montréal organized an evening under the banner of celebration and solidarity. The event is part of a series of initiatives carried out by the organization throughout the year, but this month the focus was placed on highlighting Afro-descendant communities and their essential contribution to Quebec’s cultural and economic wealth.

Guest on the set of Facebook TV, Franck Kouamé, social entrepreneur and co-founder of OBD Groupe, spoke about his journey, his vision, and the ambitions of this company born from the meeting of three Ivorian entrepreneurs living in Canada.

During a memorable address, Charles Bayetat, the first Black Senior Principal Director in Quebec at TD Bank and co-chair of the Black Employee Network and Allies, delivered a speech filled with pride and determination. His intervention took place during Semaine Dynastie, a flagship event that highlights changemakers and individuals working toward a more inclusive society.
